My 2 Cents on the whole Michael Vick deal

Look people you seriously need to stop complaining about the whole ordeal.

The guy deserves a second chance and I'm glad a team like the Eagles are giving him the opportunity to redeem himself.

What pisses me off is all those ridiculous eagles "fan" saying they will not support their team because of this; and all those people saying this was a bad move for this organization. I can promise you this: all those folks that are bitching about the Vick signing will do a full 180 once the Eagles are dominating their division- it will be like nothing ever happen and will welcome Vick with open arms.

Why?

Because winning games can cause that and it makes hypocrites out of those same "fans".

Nonetheless, this talking shit on Vick needs to stop.

Like T.O. said, (which I'm shocked I'm actually using his reference but only because it makes a lot of sense) there are people currently in the NFL who have done worse than Vick has done and no one even bothers to say anything about it. Its bullshit, so quit giving this guy such a hard time and let him be. He served his and paid his debt, if it wasn't good enough for you, how about you go to prison and try to survive.

Well that is all for now.

Home Alone....=]

Well the time has come........I am home alone for the remainder of this summer vacation!!

The parents are on a vacation and that means my house is the place to be now.

What shall I be expecting during this break: the sky is the limit!

Perhaps I shall throw a party or a kickback.

Maybe setup a poker event...

Or a beer pong competition...

Nonetheless, it shall be fun.

I'm done with work for today so that is all for now.

Time to get some supplies and see where I can go from there.

Arizona Flavored Teas

Do you remember when you first had your first Arizona flavor tea? Now if you have no clue of what I'm talking about or merely have never bothered to get one before, I want you to slap yourself, stop reading this and the get the fuck off the chair and go buy one!!

Back to my point. I remember my first time buying my drink: I was walking with my good friends Pishoy "the Oil eater" Haroun and Matt Longo from Griffiths Middle school and we stopped at the dairy market/ liquor store on the corner of Florence and Tweety ( I think) Any ways, we were going to get our typical drinks at the time which usually were some brand of soda but on that particular day, the asian lady when up to us and was like (In a Miss. Swan voice) "Oh hi, try dis new drink....isha good for you, oh yes. go buy buy."

So we all looked at each other with an are you effin serious expression but after thinking it over and realizing we each only had like 2 bucks on us each, we were sold by the asian lady's pitch and we each bought one. I remember buying a kiwi strawberry one and from the moment I tasted the first drop, I felt an instant orgasmic sensation run throughout my body! I couldn't believe how good this drink was- it was far better than any other soda and the best thing was that it was only 99 cents!!!

It was such an amazing drink for such an amazing price. Since that day, I knew that if I were ever thirsty and was running low on the funds, I could depend on an Arizona Flavored Tea to save the day!

So get off your ass and go buy one and while your at it, get me one too please. Thanks

P.S. I think Pishoy was looking for an Oil Flavored Arizona Tea that day....LMAO

Paul Scheer and Lost

Well I just came across this through my twitter feed and I felt I should pass this on to fellow lost fans.

First of all, I came across Paul Scheer when he was doing skits during Human Giant, which by the way if you have never heard of that show, go to youtube.com and check them out- they are effin amazing.

Ne who, well apparently he is an avid fan like myself but I guess who took more of an extreme to show how much of a fan he is- Paul is actually doing LOST art work which actually look pretty amazing. So go and support him!

Well if you happen to be wondering how his art looks like or just want to search another LOST fan's site, check him out at http://damoncarltonandapolarbear.com/dcpb/

Make sure you drop by and tell him who sent you!

That is all for now my friends.

This is our Year!

A few months ago on my twitter account, I made a bold prediction right around Interleague that this year's World Series would include the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees.

As the season continues, I'm still sticking to the prediction. Both teams are leading their division and both teams seem like they are destined to meet each other.

With all the trades that were made before the deadline and the more that will probably be made during the waiver period, I think regardless of which team gets another player, these teams are still going to meet. Many writers such as Jon Heyman and Ken Rosenthal like to wrap it up and give the title to teams such as the Phillies or the Red Sox but I for one don't agree with their reasoning especially after neither of those writers really give credit to any team except one named the Red Soxs or the Yankees so it kind of makes it difficult to trust their reasoning.

I guess you can say I'm bias since I've been rooting for the Dodgers since I was kid but the reality of the matter is that this truly is our year. This years Dodgers remind me of the Yankees that went on to win their first world series under the helm of Joe Torre.

Funny thing that both the Dodgers and the Yankees are being managed under Joe's so its only a matter of time before they both meet.

Nonetheless, I just wanted to write down some thoughts down and end it on this

The only sports writers/reporters that actually know their stuff in the baseball world are: Buster Olney and Peter Gammons. Those are two guys I actually respect and listen to so everyone else can either follow in their footsteps or jump off a cliff and don't waste the time of the fans.

The First...

Well hello there.

Now that I got my computer....the world is about to change.

I told myself I would start a blog once I got my pro and here I am; ready to throw myself into the ocean filled with sharks.

What kind of things should I warn you about if you happen to come across this blog...well expect a lot of things:

Sports
Randomness
Life
Video Games
BATMAN
Books
Adventures

and porn......

Sike!!

Any who, to tell you a lil bit about myself: My name is Brian Sawyer, but I go by Sawyer, Bruce, Brian, Captain and some times Savior of all ( jk on the last one unless u want to haha)

I am 21 and going to be graduating from USC this semester in which afterwards I plan on either being the President of the United States or work for ESPN.....

I will soon be writing my book about graduating college the fun way, which perhaps I might give a few snippets every once in a while in this blog

I consider myself a genius when it comes to sports- since i treat it like a religion and I pwn in fantasy sports

I consider my life to be a novela and full of random shit that at times only seems like it can only happen in a book or movie.

Any who, I'm sure as time goes on you'll be able to get a better understanding as to who I am and what I am about.

Let's hope this is the start of something great.
