As the season continues, I'm still sticking to the prediction. Both teams are leading their division and both teams seem like they are destined to meet each other.
With all the trades that were made before the deadline and the more that will probably be made during the waiver period, I think regardless of which team gets another player, these teams are still going to meet. Many writers such as Jon Heyman and Ken Rosenthal like to wrap it up and give the title to teams such as the Phillies or the Red Sox but I for one don't agree with their reasoning especially after neither of those writers really give credit to any team except one named the Red Soxs or the Yankees so it kind of makes it difficult to trust their reasoning.
I guess you can say I'm bias since I've been rooting for the Dodgers since I was kid but the reality of the matter is that this truly is our year. This years Dodgers remind me of the Yankees that went on to win their first world series under the helm of Joe Torre.
Funny thing that both the Dodgers and the Yankees are being managed under Joe's so its only a matter of time before they both meet.
Nonetheless, I just wanted to write down some thoughts down and end it on this
The only sports writers/reporters that actually know their stuff in the baseball world are: Buster Olney and Peter Gammons. Those are two guys I actually respect and listen to so everyone else can either follow in their footsteps or jump off a cliff and don't waste the time of the fans.
Do your self a favor and follow the Captain
